Maternity Care
Having a baby is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in a woman's life, and Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is dedicated to providing expectant mothers and newborns with the finest care possible during this special time. Our maternity services are provided by obstetricians, labor and delivery specialists, nurses and other caring professionals in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
You'll find a range of care from prenatal to postpartum care, including high-risk pregnancy care and advanced labor and delivery services. Our care extends beyond delivery, with a variety of educational resources for new parents.
Our post-partum rooms are comfortable private rooms with bathrooms and showers. Sleep chairs are available if your partner wishes to stay overnight with you. The labor and delivery unit is also secured with a code-entry system to protect against infant and child abduction.

- Couplet care (that allows your newborn to stay in the same room with you)

- Hearing screening for all newborns
- High-risk C-section room

- Hysterectomy (or other gynecological procedure) care
- Level II nursery (for premature babies and newborns who need special attention)
